In this recurring column, we highlight a few items we've run across that don't merit a full story of their own but are interesting enough to bring to your attention. This time we look at an agency photographer shortlist, Illume Image Quest winners, street photography, Felix Hernandez and Lydie Bonhomme.
- Matt Fidler presents the Guardian's Agency Photographer of the Year Shortlist with mini portfolios of 13 photographers. An overall favorite will be announced toward the end of the year, he notes.
- Red Bull has announced the winners of its Illume Image Quest adventure and action sports contest.
- Kirk Tuck curates some of his favorite Street Photography over the years. We're partial to the older European shots but it makes an interesting slide show when you click on an image and scroll through.
- Affinity presents Felix Hernandez building and photographing a Winter Wonderland from scratch in this 9:52 clip:
- In Experiment With Photos, French photographer Lydie Bonhomme adjust color while she dodges and burns her way to different look in a portrait. Her free Lightroom preset and Photoshop action can be downloaded, too.
