Vivid-Pix Announces Memory Station

Vivid-Pix has announced its Memory Station scanner/software bundle featuring one-click scanning of difficult archival materials with one-click image correction of the scans.

The scanner can scan up to 10 images at a time, separating them and straightening them. It can correct for the curve distortion in book scans as well. It will save either JPEG or PDF files at 600 dpi.
The software presents a 3x3 grid of nine alternatives from which to select an initial correction before optionally fine-tuning the result.
The Memory Station also includes local storage and online archiving options.
FUNCTIONS & FEATURES
Functions of the Memory Station include:
- Scan: One-click scan straightens and separates up to 10 images into individual files.
- Restore: One-click Vivid-Pix Restore software optimizes faded images.
- Store: Images are stored on a computer or external drive with upload to online storage also available.
- Voice Record: Optional voice recordings with text transcription are combined with images.
- Share: Online images and voice can be kept private or shared. Images and text can be combined to create online or printed memoirs and books.
