OM System announced two new Micro Four Thirds zooms today, the M.Zuiko Digital ED 9-18mm f4.0-5.6 II and the M.Zuiko Digital ED 150-600 F5.0-6.3 IS. Details follow.

WIDE ANGLE ZOOM

The M.Zuiko Digital ED 9-18mm f4.0-5.6 II is the lightest and most compact option among the three M.Zuiko Digital ultra wide-angle zoom lenses. With a 35mm equivalent of 18-36mm, it boasts a close focusing distance of 9.84 inches across its entire range and a magnification of 0.11x at wide angle or 0.2x at telephoto.

The M.Zuiko Digital ED 150-600mm f5.0-6.3 IS lens on its own covers a focal range from 300mm to 1200mm and is compatible with the M.Zuiko Digital 1.4x Teleconverter MC-14 and M.Zuiko Digital 2x Teleconverter MC-20. When combined with the MC-20, it extends to an impressive 600-2400mm equivalent.
