We've just archived Volume 13, Number 1 of Photo Corners on the Archive page with 15 Features, 7 commented News stories, 27 Editor's Notes (which included 167 items of interest), no reviews and one site note for a total of 50 stories.

Twenty-five of those stories included 112 images. We also published four stories with gear specifications. We also marked one holiday and published three obituaries.

Only seven news stories feels like a record low but we somewhat compensated for that with 167 items of interest in the Around The Horn column. We interpret that to mean there's a lot of enthusiasm for the subject but product development has slowed to a crawl.

READERSHIP was slightly up from December with increases in unique sites and pages.

Our top stories were led by Helen Rimell Awarded 2023 Bob & Diane Fund Grant, which led two Horns by over 200 percent, followed by the Peter Magubane obit and four more Horns.

We write about what we do. So this month we showed you how we put a tribute slide show and video together and used neural filters to improve a candid portrait.

At the end of January, our total counts include 8,956 articles and 5,627,806 words. You must be exhausted reading all that.

WE HAVE TO APOLOGIZE for the late start this month. We had a little redesigning to do on our Highlights page this morning. And yesterday we were down a programming rabbit hole with some PHP revisions.

You can be thankful we don't write about PHP.
